Mathematics is a formal science that, starting from axioms and following the logical reasoning, studies / n the properties, abstract structures and relationships between abstract entities such as numbers, geometric figures, icons, glyphs or symbols in general. Mathematics is a set of formal languages that can be used as a tool to pose problems in specific contexts. For example, the following statement can be expressed in two ways: X is greater than Y and Y is greater than Z, or in simplified form it can be said that X> Y> Z. This is why mathematics is just one simplified language with a tool for each specific problem (for example, 2 × 2 = 4 or 2 + 2 = 4).
